Direct Bill
Direct Bill Zend Framework with SQL Server database. The most complex of all the HR applications, Direct Bill is a shadow system that picks up where SAP leaves off on billing for retiree health care. It is a recently re-constructed app, re-built from ASP pages and VB dlls.
Direct Bill has an interface for HR Benefits employees to manage data, a robust reporting system for Benefits accountants, and a number of Business Intelligence (SSIS) packages to handle file transactions (PGP encryption).
Make the Difference
Make the Difference is custom, quasi-framework built on PHP and SQL Server. It manages the life-cycle of employee suggestions, from the point of submission to the Make the Difference Administrator, through to 2 levels of delegation for approval.
Employee Records
The UK Employee Records site provides 3 paths for different user types (individuals, businesses, and agencies) to request records (and pay, the case of businesses). We integrate with an external vendor for the secure online transactions (skipjack).
Again, this is custom code, highly modularized for form re-use across the separate channels. It employs the Zend Framework type singleton front-end (via rewrite rules) to the classes and SQL Server as the database. Employee Records employees access a secure server for data management and workflow.
